File Shredder

Use the Add and Remove buttons to select items for the Shred list. Once you are sure of your selection, choose a shred level and click the Shred button to permanently erase the files.

File Shredder can permanently remove the specific files from your drives;with Advanced tab active, add file(s) or folder(s) to feed the shred engine, select the specific shred level,and then click the Shred button to proceed.

To erase files completely by File Shredder:

1. Click the Advanced Toolkits button at the main window, and then click the File Shredder tab.
2. Click the Add button and then select  Add Files to include the files you want to be completely erased.
3. Select one Shred level at the Shred Level section.
4. Click the Shred button.

To erase files in recycle bin completely by File Shredder:

1. Click the Advanced Toolkits button at the main window, and then click the File Shredder tab.
2. Click the Add button and then select Add All Recycle File to include the files you want to be completely erased.
3. Select one Shred level at the Shred Level section (the more overwrite passes, the more secure). .
4. Click the Shred button.

To erase one file folder completely by File Shredder:

1. Click the Advanced Toolkits button at the main window, and then click the File Shredder tab.
2. Click the Add Folder button to include the folder you want to be completely erased.
3. Select one Shred level at the Shred Level section (the more overwrite passes, the more secure).
4. Click the Shred button.

When you empty the Recycle Bin, files and folders that are in the trash are still not deleted. They're simply marked by the system for deletion at a future date . Let's why File Shred comes in handy.
