We are very proud and excited that the newer Advanced PC Tweaker 4.2 has been released on Aug 22, 2009. This is a minor release, fixing the stability issues when running on Windows Vista, improving the detection engine and recovery capabilities. As always, we welcome all the feedback sent to us.
The Advanced PC Tweaker version 4.1.0 has been released on September 27, 2008. This is a major update and we take it to 4.1.0 since there are lots of functions and integrated solutions that have been improved and packed in this new version. Basically, we have solved the issues with Vista compatibility, too aggressive registry repair capability on printer apps (e.g. HP all-in-one program), and conflicts with Microsoft .Net framework.
The 1-click tweak is a maintenance package that can give our users a quick overview on the system performance, such as correct the major registry problems and free up disk space; the latest built-in Evidence Cleaner shows a better strength on removing all traces of your Internet activity and protect sensitive information while improving your computer’s performance.
Advanced PC Tweaker 4.0.1 has been released on August 20, 2008. There has been quite some bugs we have fixed on the Registry Repair utility. To be sure, this new version will provide more efficiency for our users. Again, we will be greatly appreciated for all the feedback our dear users sent to us.
Advanced PC Tweaker was able to detect over 100 empty registry entries left by installing and deleting software on my computer. My computer kept freezing every now and then, so I thought it was a virus or spyware that have been installed on my computer. But the problem was that Kaspersky found nothing.
